Beachcomber Restaurant

My guy and I rode bikes to this restaurant by the beach and had a great time. Our waiter, Kevin was fun and all his recommendations were amazing. The smoked fish dip and red shrimp were absolutely delish. You will not regret eating at the Beachcomer.

Food and service were both great. Out of a party of five including two kids (one very picky), not one of us had anything but positive things to say about our food. It was all delicious! The red beans and rice were fantastic. Only wish we hadn't forgotten our leftovers sitting on the table when we left. This will be somewhere that we'll definitely return to.

Fish and chips melts in your mouth with a great tarter sauce. Fries with the burger were nice and crunchy. The key lime pie keeps up with the best of them. The servers were fun to watch as they hustled around the restaurant. Would eat here again!!!!!😁

If the weather cooperates, Beachcomber is always a great bet. Large outdoor space makes a nice day a great experience for a meal or Happy Hour.Nothing too fancy, just a relaxed beachy feel. Burgers are always excellent. Fried calamari, you can't go wrong. I had the fish and chips special last week, large pieces of perfectly fried fish. I'd get it again for sure. Say "Hi" to Mike when you're there. Parking can be tight, since you're right on the beach.

Calming environment, fantastic food that is reasonably priced and hopping bar. Get ready to wait for a table because this is a popular destination. But the wait isn't so bad when you can walk on the beach.

Absolutely loved our visit to the Beachcomber - and dog friendly! We set out on a road trip and settled on this gem. We cannot wait to come back. Service was top notch, quick expedite of order, and the food was delicious!

Great shrimp & fresh local catches. Dog friendly, beach-side bar & diner. They even have a little sand bar for kids to play in or for the adults to relax in the sand with a drink. Plenty of outdoor seating.

This place was pretty sweet, great drinks and tasty food with a really nice outdoor seating area where you can take your drinks out with you

The food and drinks are great. The view can't be beat, but sometimes you can't get a bartender's attention because they are so busy. Not a bad thing for a good restaurant, but we've had to leave because 10 minutes without a glance just to get a bar beer is time to find another restaurant, even for the views.

We visited for the first time while vacationing with some family that come to this area often. This is a great place on the beach side for the great area for the kids to play while we sit on the patio enjoying some great drinks. If I could, I would give it a four and a half Stars, only because I was disappointed in the lack of seafood options on the menu. I would have expected a Beachside restaurant in Florida to have more than the fish dinner of the day, and fried shrimp. They did have a couple of appetizers, and ultimately what we did it was really good.

We went out to eat for the first time yesterday and we felt very safe - all of the servers and hostesses were very conscientious about wearing masks, keeping distances, super job on cleaning, plus the hand sanitizing stations everywhere - and the food is GREAT as always!

Nice little beach bar. Awesome, friendly staff, Nicole took good care of us. My friend said conch fritters were the best ever.

Ask for Russell. He was a great server and helped to make this one of our favorite spots for lunch. Try the turkey Ruben and make sure that you get red beans and rice for a side. What a great location and the food is second to none!

Amazing food/beer And a huge sand play area for the kids. Amazing. Place right on the beach. I had the Brie burger a perfect burger!

Fun, vibrant, and busy place. Nice outdoor seating. The ceasar salad with blackened mahi fillet was delicious. Good beer selection, and they have a full bar. Parking can be hectic during peak hours.

My wife and I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Today I had their fresh catch fish and chips, and it was the best fish and chips I've ever had! Absolutely delicious meal. Atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable for an open air lunch. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Wife and I had the Fish Tacos and the Cuban Sandwich. Very good! Great location next to the beach, and the music isn't too loud. Excellent service.

Nice beachside restaurant. Friendly service and a good spot! We both had burgers which were excellent. Also a pretty sweet list of Craftbeers on tap! Who doesn't love to get a pint of hazy ipa with your burger when dining on the beach, great!

Our waitress was fantastic! She has such a positive and fun attitude. She was knowledgeable of all the menu items and specials. Our food came out hot and remarkably fast for as busy as it was there. We will definitely come back again for the good food and service. The views, atmosphere and friendliness was worth the drive!

Perfect place for a lunch date! After starving our butts off at a tourist destination we found this little gem right on the beach. With quick service and friendly patrons we felt a bit of home even with n.v us being 12 hours away. A unusual place to find southern hospitality that is a norm of Kentucky. The food was made to order and fresh beyound expectations.

We enjoyed the Beach Comber very much. Loved the location Right in the dunes near the ocean. The food was good. We enjoyed a bottle of wine. We were there in the late afternoon when there is a breeze.which gave us a break from the excessive heat of recent days. A great place to enjoy the beach

The food was fantastic and fresh! We had everything from the "Shipwreck burger" to the "Big Fish Ruben" (my favorite). Great customer service and beach side atmosphere.

Worth the wait. Don't go if you're in a rush, this is a chill pet kid friendly beach bar. Parking is a nightmare so walk or ride your bike.

We stopped in St Augustine for a night on the way further south. Happened across Beachcomber on Google and decided to check it out. Absolutely loved it. We got a few appetizers. The shrimp and the smoked fish dip in particular were tasty. Even better as the sand area for the kids to play. Mom and dad got to sit and finish their drinks while the kids ran and had fun.

This is my favorite place in St. Augustine beach. The food is amazing and fresh, wait staff is great, and the alcohol selection is superb. The margarita is 👌🏻. 10/10 would visit again!

Our experience was really great. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating, and a great option for our wild toddler. We had the calamari as an appetizer, and it was a very generous portion, and perfectly breaded. The wings were easily the top 3 best wings I’ve ever had. They were crispy, succulent, and had just the right amount of kick. The ranch was also on point. Husband had a burger which was immaculate.

Great spot right next to the beach but hard to get a view of the ocean. Best thing is that they are pet friendly. Food is good but would like a few more non seafood choices.

Tucked away at the beach end of A Street, you'll find this very laid-back, super casual restaurant. Delicious food (we had grilled shrimp tacos and mahi reubens) and cold drinks. Fast and easy, friendly service. Dine inside or out on the patio...which I think is dog-friendly. Small parking lot, located right next to public beach access.

Waitress was amazing, my shrimp appetizer was cooked perfectly and came out hot. They made my arnold Palmer just right as well. However, I got the fish and chips entree and 2/3 of my battered fish’s batter was too raw too enjoy- too bad though, I was having a perfect lunch otherwise! The fries and tartar sauce were great. When I told my waitress about the issue, she took the food away and the manager came out and offered to either bring something else or discount/comp the entree for me. All in all well deserved 4 star review even with the mishap! They’re right by free parking and beach vehicle access so still ideal to go to!

The food was excellent. Staff was attentive and very helpful. Dog friendly. If their parking is full, there is a beach parking lot at the beginning of the street in walking distance to the restaurant. We were there in January. The beach there is great!

Great little beach side restaurant with a great menu. I had the Pineapple Cilantro margarita and the Fresh Catch tacos. The slaw and chipotle sauce was perfect atop perfectly fried fish. My of had the burger and he enjoyed it. The fries were perfection. There's a sandy area with chairs that was great for the kids to play in while the adults ate.

Great food, ambiance and staff. Ocean is right there and there's a kid friendly fenced in sand play area! Enjoyed the andouille sausage with red beans and rice.

new and improved menu and outdoor patio. not the greatest food in the world but its good with a great view. child friendly with their sand box and toys and adult friemdly with their great drinks.
